As I write this, we're at 9 hours left to go on the Kickstarter. First, I want to thank everyone for their support, because this has been a fantastic ride. We funded in record time, and have hit seven stretch goals. (We still have time to unlock two more pins, if we get to $8000 before noon, just saying, so, you know, hit that social media and share away. We could potentially do it! Maybe!)

What's Next?

So what happens next? Well, once the Kickstarter closes, your cards will be charged. We're in the process of setting up BackerKit, which will make it easier for us to gather your information, coordinate, and ship your items out to you. 

Once everyone's pledges are verified, we'll send out BackerKit surveys. This will be where you're able to select your rewards, add on any extras you'd like, and where you'll be able to modify your address until we lock addresses right before we ship. 

Extras?

Yes, extras! We don't just have pins, we'll be launching an entire 8-bit line, including shirts, leggings, skirts, bags... and our backers will not only get first crack at these items, long before they hit NerdyKeppie.com, but you'll get discounts on them, as well, from 10%-30%, depending on the item.

Our choices have expanded a lot since our last Kickstarter, and you'll get access to skirts, leggings, backpacks, pouches, hats, and more. These add-ons will ship separately from the pins!

Timelines!

At this moment in time, we have ordered our samples from our pin provider & are waiting for them to arrive. Once Kickstarter verifies funds and we receive them, and we receive satisfactory samples, we'll order all the pins and the stickers everyone is getting since we unlocked that stretch goal in our first hour (wow!). We plan to ship by the second week of May at the latest, barring any unforeseen happenings, so that everyone should have their pins in hand by the start of Pride Month in June!

Level Eight START!

We jumped up past $6100 at some point last night while I was sleeping, and while we've seen some adjustments in the last day as folx settle out what works well for them, we're still above $6K, which means I get to announce that we've hit our seventh stretch goal!

The Gilbert Baker original Pride flag & Intersex Pride pin are now available for all pin reward levels!

We're in the home stretch -- please help us push for the last 3 days. Social media has been a huge driver for us and we appreciate every share, mention, etc. 

We're so excited to bring this project to you (and extra excited bc profits from this project will give us the last of the funds we need to replace Mandy's wheelchair. Extra awesome!)

Level Six Continues!

We're less than $900 from our sixth stretch goal, at which we'll be unlocking more of our Mystery Pins! What an amazing place to be with more than 20 days left to go -- we're really looking forward to showing you the pins we've yet to unveil.

As some of you know, this is our second enamel pin Kickstarter, and we learned an awful lot from the first one about how to minimize our time once the Kickstarter itself closes. We're working with our pin manufacturer to get samples of the pins now that we know the Kickstarter will fund, so that we can have those in hand sooner, and get your pins to you sooner. 

Please continue to share the Kickstarter and help us get to as many stretch goals as possible. Likewise, if your local comic or gaming shop would love to carry these? Send them to us for wholesale pricing! We'd love to see these everywhere. 

How soon until Level Seven? Soon, we hope, but we're so excited about all the achievements you've already unlocked!

LEVEL SIX: COMPLETE

If we were fantastic MIDI composers, we'd have some sort of dramatic sting music to go along with this, but since we're not, just look at this:

Just eight hours in, and we've blown past our first six stretch goals, which brings our available pin set to, in alphabetical order:

Agender, Aromantic, Asexual, Bear, Bisexual, Genderfluid, Genderqueer, Lesbian, More Color More Pride, Non-Binary, Queer, Rainbow or Transgender

This is our last update of the night, and we're just, well. We can't be surprised, because we know our community is really awesome, but we're incredibly grateful and excited. 

Our next stretch goal is at $6K, and yes, there are more pins to unlock. Thank you so much for all the social media traffic, that's how we make this happen!

We funded in under an hour, matching our prior Kickstarter. You guys r o c k. High score, next level start!

Wait. You BEAT the next level already? We unlocked the first stretch goal in the time it took me to get another cup of coffee?

Yup, you did it!

On to our pin unlocks! At $1000 we unlock Genderfluid and Asexual pins for all backers.
